- eliza and her monsters
It’s safe to say that I will not read these books because of their main plot or I generally don’t get the idea of the book, and yes I am a 13-year-old who hates the most popular books in the ya industry. Just a quick note, I mean no hate to the author and they all have amazing writings, it’s just that I have a problem with the books.
My main reasons why I stopped reading these books is because I am not into the plot or not a big fan of the book. It is not uncommon for me to start a book and not complete it for any reason. If you lent me a book and I didn’t complete it, don’t get mad at me, the book has a problem lol.
- All the bright places by Jennifer Niven.
My reason isn’t good enough to stop reading the book, however, I find books about sucide just alarming. My main point to say here is I didn’t understand what Niven was trying to tell us in the book, neither I understood the novel. The book didn’t start off in a mysterious way, that I actually wanted to read more.
2. a semi-definitive list of worst nightmares by Krystal Sutherland
The first chapters of the book hooked me in a way that loved reading the book, at the time I was reading the book no one was, so I had no one to discuss the book with. The reason for me not reading the book was I actually had tests at the time, also I didn’t understand the book as we became nearer to the end.
- Wonder by R.J. Palacio
I red the book in 5th grade but never finished it. I rebought the book again last year and red a lot of it, however, I forgot what happend so never picked up the book again
- Harry Potter
I have no intention of picking the book again, I don’t even know what its based about is it a play or a novel? Don’t hate on me but I don’t even know what a Slytherin is, don’t get me wrong I still want to go to Hogwarts for university.
5. 13 reasons why
As I said, I just have a problem with books about suicide, however, the book was amazing and I was just about to complete it but I got lost with the character’s tapes and never got a chance to re-read the book.
6. because you’ll never meet me
DON’T EVER ASK ME ABOUT THIS BOOK, I just HATE this book, and HATE is a strong word
7. the glow of fallen stars
I have a problem with book fonts so that’s one reason why I didn’t read the book and the main reason I spoiled it for myself that one of the characters is pregnant and she has a weird relationship with a person idk.
8. Eliza and her monsters
I DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE FIRST PAGES SO WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER COMPLETE IT.
